The "ART FUTURE PRIZE" constructs a stage for the development of emerging artists, fostering positive interactions between creators and the industry. This year, three winners were selected:Bingyou Wu,Zijie Huang, and Jun Hwan KIM from South Korea, who were awarded at the opening press conference. In terms of exhibitions, out of the 38 rooms in the luxury five-star hotel, seven Korean galleries participated in the exhibition, presenting an observation of contemporary art creation in Korea from a certain perspective, worth seeing. Taiwanese galleries also showcase a diverse range of contemporary art styles. As the Year of the Rabbit approaches, many galleries have arranged exhibitions with rabbit-themed or festive atmospheres, providing choices to refresh the home space for the upcoming year. Furthermore, to provide more art education opportunities for children in need, this edition of ART FUTURE collaborated with relevant foundations on the "Dream Character Project," displaying donated artworks from celebrities alongside artworks created by children, bringing warmth and a sense of hope at the beginning of the year.

Art Future Prize - The Fresh Imagination of Award-Winning Artists This year's Rising Stars Award was judged by Hsueh Hsueh Cultural and Creative Executive Vice Chairman Liling Xu, former Deputy Researcher and Curator at the National Art Gallery of Malaysia Aiwei Lin, and Donghyun Kim, the founder of the Korean Photography Expo. The three winners are Bingyou Wu, a 24-year-old currently studying at the National Tainan University's Graduate Institute of Animation Art and Visual Aesthetics; Zijie Huang, a 29-year-old artist; and Jun Hwan KIM from South Korea.

Gallery Room 1005  Art Future Prize | Artworks by  Bing you Wu.

Bingyou Wu's entry for this competition consists of five installation artworks. Through the use of multimedia materials, the artist expresses their observations on society. The artworks metaphorically depict social space as a "Panopticon," with televisions enclosed in iron cages symbolizing the intention to deprive freedom and establishing a hierarchical relationship of power. The piece titled "5.X2000-Desire Machine01: Vulgar Technological Carrier-Desire Machine 01" juxtaposes the rigidness of cement with the flexibility of emotions. Cement, as an indestructible tangible material, houses electronic screens that act as mirrors reflecting our inner emotions.

Zijie Huang's series of works draw inspiration from science fiction and fantasy. After being reassembled and transformed, they combine with his own expertise in ink painting to depict his imagination of the universe using meticulous colored ink techniques, constructing an expanding worldview. Jun Hwan KIM also explores emotions by depicting stones with acrylic paint. The artist believes that emotions are like stones, influenced by various environmental factors. They can fracture and disappear, just as emotions can become dull and fade away. The black and white stones portray the artist's lack of emotions.
