Hsinchu Art Fair : Where Art and Technology Converge
Hsinchu, known as "Tek-kham", is a 300-year-old city in Taiwan, as famous as Tainan, with a rich cultural heritage.
During the three years of the epidemic, Hsinchu was one of the few regions in the world to maintain a high rate of economic growth. In the past three years, Hsinchu's income and tax payments have increased, and it is the region with the highest national income in Taiwan, surpassing Taipei's premier Hsinyi District.
Founded in 2018, the first and second editions of the Hsinchu Art Fair attracted around 2,000 visitors per year. Coming back in 2022, in the midst of a gloomy economy due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Hsinchu Art Fair's total sales reached NT$15 million, which is also among the highest average sales volume of hotel fairs in Taiwan, with the support of Hsinchu City and Hsinchu County governments.
In 2023, we will continue to invite technology companies, construction companies and high-income elites from Taichung and Miaoli, and choose the best international five-star hotel in Hsinchu, Sheraton Hsinchu Hotel, to host the fair.
It will bring together galleries and creative teams from home and abroad to present a variety of creations for collectors and people from all over the world to wander in the virtual and reality art worlds and move into the "future".
